Janet-EricksonInstructor Bio: Janet Erickson has been in the nursing and childbirth field since 1992.  She also owns and operates an independent business contracting for guest lecturers, community education, and private instruction in: childbirth education, breastfeeding, infant massage, parenting, infant/child development, Autism/PDD NOS, ADHD, disability awareness, CPR, First Aid, and stress/anxiety reduction. Janet has teaching experience and certifications in the following fields: American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor, infusion nursing CRNI, HypnoBirthing Instructor, Lactation Consultant, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, RTS Bereavement Counselor, NHTSA Certified Child Restraint System Technician, Safe Sitter Instructor.

Class Description

Breastfeeding Your Newborn & Breastfeeding Beyond Newborn

There are many benefits to breastfeeding for both babies and mothers. Your precious little one will have normal digestive health protecting him… against illness and allergies and building a good immune system. Moms, you will enjoy the special bonding that comes with breastfeeding, you’ll sleep more, and have less stress mothering your baby. Moms are strongly encouraged to attend with their partners! Our breastfeeding classes are separated into two different classes: Breastfeeding Your Newborn & Breastfeeding Beyond Newborn. The Following topics will be covered in each class:

Breastfeeding Your Newborn
